DRAINAGE SERVICES - Overview

OnSite's Drainage Services Department was created in April 2004 to provide drain and sewer maintenance services to the water industry.

The success of the department has been dramatic. One of the department's major accomplishments has been the award by Severn Trent Water Ltd of their Sewerage Support Services Contract. This contract offers Sewerage Services (blockage clearance, sewer cleansing, CCTV, root cutting and man entry) to compliment Severn Trent Water's existing direct labour workforce.

To manage the volume of incidents, OnSite has opened a 365 day, 24 hour event management centre to deal with all aspects of drainage related incidents and requests. Our in-house IT department has developed Job Management systems enabling us to receive and assign jobs electronically, provide key information to the client via email as soon as the work is complete on site, and to deliver invaluable management information statistics.

Our core focus is to deliver smart solutions to old problems. "Dependability" is a key word that OnSite uses to ensure services are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Health and safety is the cornerstone of our business. Delivery of drainage and sewer services can require access to hazardous areas and confined spaces. OnSite has over 30 years experience of operating safely in these types of environment. All site personnel are trained to industry standards in confined spaces, high pressure water jetting and traffic management. All OnSite supervisors are full trained to IOSH standards giving the client reassurance in safe service delivery.
